(Each link opens in a new window/tab.) Here are my favorite reads this week. Enjoy!
- 4 Tips To Make Your Writing Real - This post became pretty popular this week. It was almost an afterthought until I sat down and started working with it. I’m glad I did, because it seems to have encouraged several writers this week.
- Steal an Extra Hour With a Morning Ritual - This post reminds me of the days before I had my son. I’d wake up early in the morning and have a good 2-3 hours to myself before the everyone else woke up. I miss those days!
- How To Write First Thing in the Morning - I’m loving this new blog by Leo Babauta, author of Zen Habits. This post stirs up those wonderful memories of my early morning writing before I had my youngest child. I rarely get to sneak in those morning writings anymore, but when I do I relish every second!
- 7 Powerful Steps to Overcoming Resistance and Actually Getting Stuff Done - If you don’t read Zen Habits yet, you really should subscribe to it. I discovered this blog not too long ago and it is by far one of my favorite reads every week. Posts like this one are what keep me coming back for more.
- Here’s an “old school” idea that works like a charm every time: Handwritten Notes For Clients. I really like this idea and have decided to do it myself. In a high-technology world, receiving a handwritten thank you note is a special touch that will most likely surprise the recipient every time.
- How to Get What You’re Worth - This one is from early December, but still a good post, nonetheless.
- WRA’s Seven Procrastination Busters - This is a simple, yet profound post. Rebecca lists some really great tips for getting rid of procrastination.
- Feeling a little low on self-motivation this week? I wrote about some quick & simple Self-Motivation Tips that might help you out.
